We spent only a few hours in Palm Springs, most of which was at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The Tramway is a great way to take in some beautiful scenery. Since 1963, the Tramway has been transporting passengers over a mile in elevation from the hot, dry desert to the cool mountain air.

Perhaps Palm Springs most distinctive landmark is the over 4000 huge windmills... or wind turbines lining both sides of I-10. They produce enough energy to meet the needs of about a quarter million people.
