The beautiful American Silver Eagle coin is made of 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver. Not only is this brilliant coin strikingly attractive, it is a great investment and a convenient and inexpensive way to add a small amount of physical silver to your portfolio. This uncirculated coin has no scratches or visible flaws. Except for the '96 Silver Eagles, the 1997 Silver Eagles are among the scarcest... and highly prized among collectors. The coin up for bids has a crisp, perfectly centered strike on the obverse and reverse, revealing the tiniest details with stunning clarity. It has no visible scratches or flaws. The coin has a very small amount of toning and spots on its surfaces. The edge has a few spots of natural toning. The coin has never been cleaned or dipped. It was handled only for purposes of photographing it for this auction. The high-resolution scan is of the actual coin up for bids. Although I believe this coin would be highly graded, I will not attempt to assign a grade to it. Please scrutinize the scan and judge the condition for yourself. CANADIAN TIRE MONEY

LOT OF 12 NOTES FROM THE 60s (?)

I just learned of Canadian Tire money this morning when I found a few bills in my garage. They were likely collected by my late father during his frequent trips to Ontario... So... I did a quick eBay search and found out that many people collect these things. Then I found this website (http://www.nunetcan.net/ctccc/intro_coupon.htm) and learned a bit more about this clever marketing strategy. From what I understand, they have attained a quasi-legal-tender status in Canada. Although I believe these notes to be among the earliest and oldest Canadian Tire money, I don't know for sure. The best I can do is provide a high resolution scan of the fronts and backs of each of these notes... revealing every little fold, crease, stain, speck and serial number with brutal honesty.

All of the bills are in pretty good condition. The best are the 50-cent note, the 25-cent note and four of the 10-cent notes. All 6 of these bills have sharp corners, no creases or wrinkles and little or no evidence of ever being folded and are in outstanding condition. The 5-cent bill is the most worn of the lot. It has slightly worn corners, some creases (including a diagonal crease), and some stains. All flaws are clearly visible in the scan.

Based on the information in the aforementioned website, some of these bills are rarities. Seven of the twelve bills contain the signature of CTC President, Dean Muncaster. Two contain the misspelled "signature" of CTC treasurer Fred Sasaki (misspelled S-A-S-K-I). I believe all of these bills to be from the early to mid 60s.

PROOF, but damaged.

The beautiful American Silver Eagle coin is made of 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver. Not only is this brilliant coin strikingly attractive, it is a great investment and a convenient and inexpensive way to add a small amount of physical silver to your portfolio. Although this coin is "proof" and has been polished to a mirror-like shine, it is damaged. The protective container has been thoughtlessly cracked open. The coin has a small gouge in its edge (to the left of the date on the obverse and between the "T" and the "E" in "UNITED" on the reverse). The surfaces have some scuffing. Nevertheless, the coin is still beautiful and it's still an ounce of silver. The box, felt display box and accompanying literature are included in this auction, but again, the plastic casing has been broken open, so the coin does not fit snugly in the display box. The photos are of the actual coin up for bids. Please scrutinize the scan and judge the condition for yourself. The beautiful American Silver Eagle coin is made of 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver. Not only are these brilliant coins strikingly attractive, it is a great investment and a convenient and inexpensive way to add a small amount of physical silver to your portfolio. One of these coins was minted in 2006, the other in 2007. Your coins will arrive carefully packed in plastic sleeves in a padded envelope. The coins pictured are the actual coins up for auction (obverse and reverse). The 2006 coin has a bit of minor scuffing upon close scrutiny. The 2007 coin has no scratches or defects visible to the naked eye.

I understand that fast shipping is important and I will ship immediately upon confirmed payment receipt.

We prefer the immediacy and convenience of PayPal and will ship immediately upon receipt of funds through PayPal. (Please note that an unconfirmed PayPal address will likely delay shipment.)
